Easy to find brands that you can use on your Programme

Clients and friends often ask me about where they can find certain food products, to make this easier I have put together a list of products you can easily find online or at your local Waitrose.

Sauerkraut

Why: the biona make contains no sugar or additives and is rich in friendly gut bacteria, a natural pre-biotic food.

Rye Bread

Why: a complex carbohydrate, full. of good minerals and fibre.

Where: you can purchase this brand from Waitrose. Mestemacher brand is particularly helpful due to quantity of each slice for Nutrition Plans.

Colloidal Silver

What: Colloidal silver products are made of tiny silver particles suspended in a liquid — the same type of metal used in jewellery, dental fillings and silverware. Natures anti-septic and disinfectant.

Why: my go to rescue remedy when I feel a flu coming on. It has been suggested to boost your immune system, ease chest congestion, and treat or prevent viral infections like the common cold or COVID-19. You will always find a bottle of this in my medicine cabinet.

Simply Egg Whites

Why: I love eggs but I don’t like to consume too many yolks, so will often mix in egg whites with one yolk or even just make egg white muffins depending on how I feel.

Sproud Milk

Why: originating from Sweden, this vegan milk is mostly derived from Pea Protein and other natural ingredients, it has no nasty additives and goes well in coffee.

Why: Wild rice is not a true rice but a species of grass. Cooked wild rice has about 30 per cent fewer calories than brown rice as well as 40 per cent more protein. It also contains more fibre, potassium and zinc. Where: you can purchase via Amazon.

Plenish Milk

Why: another vegan milk, made surely from Almonds, Water and Pink Salt. This milk has a great taste and works well with Chia Seeds and Oats.

Jersey Hemp Protein Powder

Why: this is my new favourite protein powder, it is super filling, nutrient dense, sustainable and produced locally at the Jersey Hemp Farm. I cannot recommend this product enough!

Dark Rye

Dark Rye is supportive on Fat Burner programmes, Body Reset.

biona Kimchi

Why: this Kimchi is delicious and priced fairly. It is full of natural probiotics and has a nice spicy kick to it.

Zinzino Balance Oil

Why: to support balancing of omega 6:3 ratio I use Zinzino fish oil. High in Omega 3 (EPA + DHA), olive polyphenols and vitamin D3 to protect cells from rusting (oxidation) and adjust the body's Omega 6:3 balance, the Balance Oil helps promote normal brain function, heart function and the immune system, reducing inflammation which is one of the causes of degenerative diseases.

Organic Chickpeas

Why: using Organic Chickpeas, you can keep some of the chickpea water to flavour dishes such as a homemade Hummus.

Organic Apple Cider Vinegar

Why: Apple Cider Vinegar is good for supporting digestion and healthy gut microbes. It works well in homemade salad dressings.

Body Bio Oil

Why: this is a good quality, cold pressed oil, rich in polyphenols and healthy fats, supporting the body’s ability to burn fat.

Goats’ Yogurt

Why: I am a bit obsessed with Goats’ yogurt, it is not only delicious but high in good fats and protein, in addition to containing natural probiotics.

Goats’ Milk

Why: Gaots’ milk is delicious in porridge and hot drinks. I love a Americano with frothy Goats’ milk.

Organic Greek Feta

Why: a rich source of protein and fat, this Organic Feta tastes amazing and is made form Sheep and Goats’ milk.

Tahini

Why: Tahini is so versatile, rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, and brings great texture to sauces. I like to use it in my Body Reset dressing recipe.

Tamari

Why: Tamari is soy-sauce-like product that originated as a by-product of making miso. Classically, it's made with only soybeans (and no wheat), making it more similar in flavor to Chinese-style soy sauce — and a great option for those who are gluten-free.

Thai Curry Paste

Why: this brand uses all-natural ingredients, with no added sugar or nasties. You can flavour up a Body Reset dinner meal, making a Thai curry with your protein option.

Coconut Amino

Why: this sauce has a natural sweetness from the coconut nectar, while still low in sugar. It works well in Asian dressings.

OSU Apple Cider Vinegar

Why: ACV is good for reducing sugar cravings, supports fat burning and promotes healthy gut bacteria. I like to have a sip of this particular ACV after a meal to help with digestion and curb any sweet cravings.
